While Amazon advertises this knife set as a "Gift Set with bonus Birchwood Block," we received two separate orders of this knife set and did not receive the above mentioned bonus block.Having received the first order, customer service (an overseas operator) told us to contact the manufacturer for the block.When informed that the product was actually sold by Amazon and NOT THE MANUFACTURER, we were assured by the overseas operator that the manufacturer would be able to help us.So we called.Guess what.Henckels told us that Amazon was responsible for the block.Called Amazon again.Got a different overseas operator.Was told he'd ship us the correct order.My wife just called me in my office and informed me that the package arrived and (guess what) same thing.No block.
Now, I not trying to make a case of getting a friggin' block for a knife set that is very superior in quality.But, come on Amazon, ship what the heck you advertise!
