I am usually wary of things coming in fancy boxes but these knives have turned out to be fantastic. I purchased them (without my wife knowing) for a special dinner I had for a couple friends. My wife didn't notice them until she sank the knife into her perfectly grilled rib eye. The knife went through it like butter. My guests were also impressed. This helped to temper the scolding I got after they left for going over my kitchen gadget allowance.
