I also checked out the Outset Company's website at http://www.outsetinc.com/ and learned their business is high-end barbeque and barware products. Specialists in BBQ tools! We grill year-round in San Diego so I needed a good steak knife set and I'm so glad I bought these knives! They fit the hand well with a good feel and 'balance'. I will follow the instructions to never put them into the dishwasher so I expect to enjoy their use for years to come!
